This summer, we're excited to bring the circus to Modeina!
Join us for our first-ever twilight Circus in the Park event from 6pm on Friday, 10 February. We've planned a fun-filled evening, with plenty of live performances and free food for you to enjoy with your family and friends.
In partnership with Neighbourhood Watch, Modeina is going to be holding a Neighbour Connect Day this September. This event has been put together as part of our commitment towards building a fun, safe and welcoming community at Modeina.
So, you’re planning on buying, and maybe building, a house. One of the first and most important factors to consider when you embark on your new home journey is the location and neighbourhood where you’ll ultimately be living.
Most of us want to live in a community that’s attractive, safe, affordable, alongside other people we can imagine forming friendships and connections with. And, if we have a family, we’ll probably also be looking for access to playgrounds, good schools and other amenities.
At Modeina, we believe that a connected community is a happier, safer community. That’s why we have teamed up with Neighbourhood Watch Victoria as one of their “Building Community Together” partners.
For more than 35 years, Neighbourhood Watch has been working with communities across Victoria to encourage neighbours to look out for each other, build closer ties and educate people about crime prevention, so they can feel safer in their neighbourhood.
From our backyard to beyond, Modeina residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to walking trails. And best of all, they are all FREE! So pull on your hiking boots and let’s go exploring…
Ten not-for-profit groups operating in the Melton area have shared in $15,000 of financial grants distributed through the 2021 Manor Lakes Community Fund.
The successful recipients were announced at a presentation evening on December 17, with each group awarded a grant of $1,500 to support their local community project.
Suzie Woolard of Burnside Kindergarten, one of the worthy grant recipients, says they will use the funds to continue developing the kindergarten’s outdoor areas.
Did you know that when residents call Modeina home they have access to a growing neighbourhood and a variety of amenities in and around the area?
As an in-fill estate, Modeina is surrounded by the well-established infrastructure of Burnside and nearby Caroline Springs.
Families immediately enjoy access to services within the estate such as the Burnside Children’s and Community Centre, which provides maternal health care, early childhood and kindergarten services and playgroups for younger children.
Everything you need to know about caring for your feathered and furry friends in and around Modeina Estate.
If you are a pet owner or contemplating becoming one, your pet’s well-being will be a top priority when you ultimately move into your new home at Modeina. But finding out about where to access the best veterinary and other animal support services nearby can sometimes seem a little overwhelming.
