Burnside Children's and Community Centre at Modeina will undergo an exciting million dollar upgrade over the next twelve months, with completion of the works expected by the end of 2018.
The Council operated facility, which currently houses a kindergarten, occasional care and maternal health centre, will be expanded to include a commercial kitchen, a larger community meeting room that will accommodate up to 150 people and a second, smaller meeting room that will comfortably hold 15-20 people.
