On 25th July, the Dennis Family Corporation gained the keenly-awaited planning permit approval from City of Melton Council to develop the remaining land at Modeina. To date, around 250 blocks have been sold through the estate's previous land releases and the balance comprises of approximately 620 further lots.
"Receiving the permit from Council marks a significant milestone for our company, as it will enable us to complete our development of Modeina, which commenced in 2013," Dennis Family Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Peter Levinge said.
Shortly after the permit was issued, DFC launched the first release of land in Modeina's next phase of development on Saturday, 29th July. The Stage 12A release consisted of 36 blocks located in close proximity to the future school. Given the high level of demand, sales were coordinated via appointments arranged on a first-come basis and resulted in all 36 blocks being sold within 48 hours.
The remaining stages will be released progressively and are expected to maintain their popularity, given Modeina's status as the last land parcel in Burnside.
