Neighbourhood Watch Partnership: Discourage illegal rubbish dumping
At Modeina, we believe that a connected community is a happier, safer community.
That’s why we have teamed up with Neighbourhood Watch Victoria as one of their “Building Community Together” partners.
As part of the partnership, Neighbourhood Watch have created a series of blogs with topics that target community safety and wellbeing.
ILLEGAL DUMPING:
In a residential development where there is empty land and construction sites, it is very easy for illegal dumping to happen whether it be rubbish or unwanted soil and debris. Builders and homeowners can discourage this from happening by working together, using signage, security cameras, temporary fencing and by being on the look out.
Illegal dumping is the disposal of waste on public or private land or into water without a licence, permit or approval from council, the EPA or other relevant authorities.
