First grants from Modeina Community Fund

The Dennis Family Corporation has awarded a total of $11,100 in grants from the inaugural Modeina Community Fund. The funding allocated by an independent judging panel has been shared amongst 13 local not-for-profit groups operating in the Burnside, Burnside Heights and Caroline Springs areas. 

The grants were presented at the Modeina Land Sales Office on 1st November, with Mayor Sophie Ramsay and other City of Melton Councillors in attendance. Also present amongst special guests at the function were DFC Founding Chairman, Bert Dennis and his wife Dawn, along with DFC Director, Grant Dennis and wife Felicia.

“We are delighted to have commenced our Community Fund at Modeina on such a positive note,” Dennis Family Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Peter Levinge said.

“There was a real emphasis on youth amongst the programs and activities that requested our support in this first year of operation.”
